Following our successful launch in Lahore, DooGhoont has officially expanded operations to Lahore, onboarding 40 new water plants in active commercial and residential zones.
Lahore represents a unique operational landscape. Unlike Lahore, which is highly sprawling, Lahore is dense and organized into massive self-contained residential societies like DHA, Bahria Town, Model Town, and Johar Town. The water delivery logistics here operate with high frequency, often requiring riders to cover multi-story buildings and dense retail markets in a single run.
Onboarding Key Hubs
Our growth team has established a local operations office in Lahore to handle training, hardware setup, and implementation support. In our first cohort, we have onboarded plants operating in:
- Johar Town & Wapda Town: High-density residential zones with massive daily bottle demands.
- DHA Lahore (Phases 1-6): Premium residential neighborhoods requiring strict delivery schedule compliance.
- Gulberg: Commercial zones with high offices and restaurant delivery requirements.
Adapting to Punjab's Local Dynamics
During onboarding, we customized our routing parameters to match Lahore's road systems. The presence of service lanes and gated security checkpoints in residential societies meant that standard navigation tools frequently miscalculated delivery times.
By integrating customized gate-routing parameters into the DooGhoont Rider App, we cut idle transit times at gated community checkpoints by 22%, saving fuel and improving customer delivery windows.
Next Steps
With these 40 plants operational, DooGhoont is now tracking over 15,000 bottle deliveries in Lahore daily. We plan to expand the cohort to 100 plants by the end of the year, cementing our position as the primary software platform for regional utility distribution.
